On 15 August they boarded a night train north and slept in Alexandria. Looping the glazed visit in a single day is a story you tell, not a tag you file. At 08:10 on 16 August they stood at the reflecting pool under the Bibliotheca — planetarium sphere, slanted roof, a modern box a locksmith would still call a keep because the geometry holds. Yara kept to the small antiquities rooms and left the reading halls after a slow circuit: the objects, not the disc as architecture, were the cut written on the tag. Coffee. Kom el-Dikka’s marble tiers at 12:20, thirty minutes: a measured walk between the disc and the second night, not a second museum expanding because the map looked small. A second night. Morning train. Cairo at 14:20 on 17 August. Nothing filed that afternoon. The bolt was already home, in a good way.
